Quality Assurance System
The quality of East India Udyog Ltd. products is assured by well defined Quality Policy and procedures in conformance to ISO-9001:2000 standard. The company has acquired the ISO:9001 Quality System Certificate. Each transformer undergoes a prescribed range of the tests as per IS/IEC standards on a routine basis. In addition, the following supplementary tests are carried out as part of an internal sampling procedure to ensure continuous quality monitoring:-
- Air Pressure Test
- Temperature Rise Test
- Vacuum Test
- Unbalanced Current Test
- Zero Sequence Test
- Acoustics Level Test .
Apart from these tests, the transformers are also subjected to Capacitance and Tan Delta Test Winding, Impulse Test, Short Circuit Tests for the purpose of design verification. EIU transformers have passed Impulse Voltage withstand Test at CPRI, Bhopal, Bangalore, Muradnagar ERDA, Vadodara and NTH, Ghaziabad, Jadavpur University, Govt. Engg. College, Jabalpur/Chennai. We also take the help of third parties to inspect the quality of our products.
